It's been said that "A Mind is a terrible thing to waste, but a wonderful thing to invest in." Considering that we should be mindful of our thoughts and how we utilize our minds. The quality of our thoughts is essential in achieving the desired conscious state. You are totally responsible for the things you focus on and what you allow to hold your attention. It is totally up to the individual. The mind is the soil where seeds take root and begin to grow. What we focus on and where we place our awareness is vital in forming our thoughts. Our thoughts dictate our actions and shapes the very course of our lives. When a thought enters the mind, you can either reject it or entertain it. Some thoughts produce good crops and while others produce an evil crop. When you meditate or focus upon a thought that is what gives it the power to take root. Once the thought or seed has taken root it will begin to flourish, until it is brought into fruition. It is then a tangible, physical manifestation that you have created.

This is the product of your thoughts whether good or evil. If your harvest is the result of good, positive, fruitful thoughts, then you should have a favorable outcome. On the other hand, if what you have manifested is evil in nature. Then expect some negative and unfavorable consequences. You have a choice, invest wisely. The key to manifesting positive results is to guard your mind. But understand this, the mind doesn't work alone. It's in the heart where all the flourishing and growing occur.

"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it flows the issues of life". (Proverbs 4:23)

The issues you've been pondering and pondering, over and over in your mind is being cultivated in the heart. We should cast down every imagination, every high thing, that exalt itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:5-6) The Christ mindset, the oil of the mind, the highest form of consciousness or awareness.

We must take authority over our thoughts, our mind and bind up any and everything that could carry us down a path of self-destruction. It is impossible to achieve higher consciousness and awareness, if you lack self-control over your mind. You will remain in a spiritual coma, just like an unconscious human vegetable. A mind is indeed a terrible thing to waste.

"Finally, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, think on these things". (Philippians 4:8)
